For the Digital S-Bahn Hamburg pilot project, I was responsible for creating an explainer animation that visualised how ETCS and ATO technology transform the way trains are operated. The film needed to make a highly technical topic understandable for a broad audience, while still reflecting the innovation and ambition behind the project. I developed the storyline, designed a modular icon set and translated the narrative into a clear, step-by-step animation that follows the journey from initial idea and planning to implementation on the tracks.

The result is an explainer that makes the Digital S-Bahn both tangible and relatable, without losing the complexity that makes the project so forward-thinking.
